You're selling the characters? I'm confused. If that's the case then why wouldn't I just use them? No point in buying them.

I am selling ownership of these characters. Whoever buys will have full creative control over the character's design, personality, backstory, etc. That is how adoptables work in the furry community.

Seems a little silly since I doubt you had to pay a license fee or anything to use the sonic characters. A tad strange since there's nothing stopping me from just using the character anyway

You can make all the fan art you want. You won't own the character. The winner of the auction will. That's just how it is.
