13th the advanced WIP of February models :D (Patreon)

Hello everyone! On the 13th I will present the advanced WIP of the two February models. I'm working on the details and improving some things of the girl and futa versions, but there are few accessories left to do. Just a little more patience, I believe you will like it! :)

This month I will start doing polls in two rounds, one with famous characters and another with original / ordinary characters (concepts like our models: Gamer Girl 1 and 2, Dirty Girl, Reader Girl, etc.). Each one with four artworks and the winner of each round will be the next month's models. I think it will be better and will please everyone because we will make the most beloved characters and at the same time we will always have more original models.

Excited to see the wips and I like the idea of known plus OC for the two separate polls. :D

Out of curiosity, have you considered creating a discord channel? It could be a good way to gain both ideas for figures as well as initial impressions on said ideas from the patrons. Though I imagine it may require more micromanagement on your end, so that could be a downside.

I may be in the minority, but I dislike this idea. Moving participation and decision making outside of Patreon segments the subscribers and removes privileges from those that don’t use discord (like myself).

I can't reply to a reply so this will have to do. What I meant by using discord was for submissions and early impressions. Currently we email Dark an idea but no one else would see it and that idea may not even get past initial screening. If it was through discord other people could also jump on to that idea possibly giving it more traction. Actual voting would still be done on Patreon.

I understand what you're saying but in that scenario Discord effectively becomes the first round of voting that decides what Patreon users get to choose from. Instead of Dark making polls on Patreon, users would make defacto "polls" on Discord in an attempt to circumvent the creator and bring their suggestion to a vote.

I see what your getting at, but it mainly comes down to users. If like 75% of patrons are open to the idea of discord then it probably should be considered. If its less then it warrants more research. As there is only 2 of us talking about it, no actual answer should be made.

You're right. I actually don't think it's necessarily a bad idea by itself, but just have some concern about what it might become. Either way suggestions would still need a majority of patrons and Dark's approval to make it through. And I'm sure I'd still be happy with the final product as there isn't anything from this Patreon that I've disliked. Whatever the community's fine with, as you say.

I've previously supported Patreon Creators that had a community section on their page. It was more for showing finished works and asking questions of the community, but it was all located on Patreon itself. Possibly Digital Dark could do a similar thing here? It would be nice to be able to ask questions to the Digital Dark community specifically , about print settings, orientation, post print clean up, and painting methods.

@JoeKerr @Diplomacy @Beezelbub Thanks for all the suggestions! Discord would be nice but I still don't know the best way to work with him regarding the polls/suggestions and I don't know if I'll be able to give the attention I would like to everyone. The idea of a channel where patrons can share their knowledge of printing, cleaning and painting would be really cool and Discord would also be a great option for that. I'll think about it :)
