Ellen blinked twice at the two round objects hanging from Jed’s torso In utter disbelief.
She thought her grandmother was crazy when she said she had placed a curse on her ex-boyfriend that, If he ever hit her again, he would come to rue the day.  As a cool breeze sifted between Jed’s legs, he became painfully aware that Ellen’s grandmother was not, in fact, messing around. He was about to live life as the other half.   He would never hit another woman again.
