The picture is of a so far untextured new NPC.

Since a few players have had troubles figuring out wht to do, I thought I could add a walkthrough page to the wiki!

MattyK also brought up something interesting. How does the community feel about auto attack? My idea to implement it would be to: Replace rest with an auto attack button for melee characters, and a new spell for casters. Instead of having rest, the player would have a passive health/pain/arousal regen while not in combat. This would have to be brought out alongside weapons in a future patch so each weapon type can have its own animation set for auto attacks.


Effects of this would be:


  • Game is made slightly harder as  you can't regenerate while fighting bosses.
  • Mana would have to be adjusted so that there will be times where you have to stand around and auto attack while your mana is recharging.
  • Idle abilities like smash for warrior or stab for assassin would need to be replaced with something more interesting.
  • Every class would need some sort of self heal to help in solo play.

Let me know how  you feel about adding something like this.


Status update:

I've completed meshwork and animations for the character in the picture of this post, and finished most of the building on the new quest. Here's what's left to:


  • Texture and script the snakeman.
  • Script the three parts of the new quest.
  • Come up with an interesting mini-puzzle for a sand covered area of the quest.
  • Come up with mechanics for a boss fight.

Not a fan of auto attack myself for a number of reasons. For one, it adds unnecessary complexity to a game that doesn't really need it. Auto-attack wouldn't really "do" anything by and large seeing as it's unlikely to be more powerful that the 1st spell every class has. Which, in turn, means regardless of auto-attack people will still be hitting 1-4 to cast their spells. Introducing a heavy mana nerf so that we're force to stand around and auto attack will only nerf the fun as well. Standing around and waiting is never fun, especially in battle and even worse outside of battle when you have to wait around for your pain and arousal to slowly decay. It's really not difficult to hit "1" every few seconds. Secondly, losing a small heal and the ability to clear pain and arousal is a huge balance change. Especially in fights similar to the Skeleton King where both of those modifiers are often applied. Having no way to clear it will make those fights last 100x longer and be filled with 100x more rape. They'd become chores. Third, I can't be the only one who sometimes throws fights to see the animation >_> An auto-attack means this will become far more difficult as there would be a chance I'd just automatically kill something I didn't want to. There's really nothing I personally like about auto-attack. It doesn't really add anything to the game and only serves to make it unnecessarily more difficult and complex and all of that for the ability to not hit "1" every few seconds. Not really a good trade off and hitting "1" doesn't take that much effort. Alternatively, rather than doing a full overhaul of various systems, why not look into adding some kind of mod similar to the BARE auto-punisher? That mod presses punish every few seconds, I imagine it wouldn't be impossible for either you or another modder to add similar functionality for the first skill. That way there is no need to have a overhaul and only those who are keen on not pressing a button every few seconds can have an auto-attack.

The auto attack would be toggled by the player. But yeah I think before I make a decision I'd like to see how the community feels about it.

I am not a fan of auto attack, having actions done for me and not feeling like I am 'playing' the game just seems wrong. Reading MinusFive's comment it brings up another aspect as well. Where we play Thongs, if it takes so much longer a fear of sandbox suddenly deleting the scene becomes real too. Having to wait long periods to heal and loose arousal makes that a sure problem. Add moments being called away due to real life you can see what I mean
