Another year another survey. I'm gonna ignore the questions where the responses were mostly identical to previous years. Let's begin!

A few new faces starting last year, but the majority of users joined in the BARE/GoThongs era. 6 real OGs have been with us since FotU!

BARE remains the most played game, but I'm glad to see a lot of users have tried GoThongs.

About a quarter have tried FetishQuest. I should probably advertise that somewhere. Maybe after next patch since I'm intending on adding in world avatar markers.

If you got to pick one feature to implement into a JasX game, what would it be?

  • Animesh - This is being rolled out on GoThongs.
  • More weapons - The past year has seen a bunch of new weapons modded in. Try some mods if you haven't already!
  • More sex - Sorry, in 2020 we're turning JasX into a bible study group.
  • Cross-game play. Able to pay Fright in a GoThong map, eg. - Sadly a ton of work would be required to do this. However, GoThongs is creative commons licensed, so if someone felt like doing this there's nothing stopping you!
  • Maybe a new game involving more fast-paced fighting action, like an actual fighting game? - Sadly SL isn't really the platform for that. The slower the gameplay the better for SL. Even GoThongs is choking the server.
  • Reinvigorate BARE please / BARE NPCs. - See the sequel section further down.
  • Game specific outfit manager - The trade-off is memory cost. Allowing the outfit manager to run on the webpage puts everything into one place. If I was to add a dialog option to pick outfits in the JasX HUD that'd need at least another script, and the goal with the JasX HUD was to make something that affected sims as little as possible. However, it's open source so you could mod that in. Also you don't have to use the browser. You can use the command line like "/1 jasx.setoutfit myOutfit", it's detailed on both your JasX HUD page and the GitHub.
  • GoT PVP - This was requested a whole lot. I was considering adding a mod that allows you to do dark souls style invasions into other peoples games (people who also use the mod, it'll be a consent based system). I can't justify the time right now tho, but I could possibly try crowdfunding such a system.
  • Gallery mode, were you get to see lewd scenes at your own will - Look into the GoThongs API. Or type "debug got Status, 21, cock goblin" and thank me later.
  • a game like a interactive rp - Try FetishQuest. And then let me know what you'd like to see in it. It's still early enough in development that I'm open for suggestions on where to take it.
  • Not a game, but... Button to auto-generate full folder structure of a new JasX outfit. - I'd need a bot to do that, since you can't give folder structures via script sadly.
  • More hyenas - Yeens are illegal now
  • smiling - Enjoy

Let's take a moment to talk about the sequel question.

I don't have any plans to make a sequel right now, I'm quite happy working on FQ for patrons and taking commissions for GoThongs. But I was curious what the community thought. As you can see, TiS and BARE were tied for the first place, and GoThongs in the second place for some reason. Fright was at 8.5%, and 4 people wanted a sequel to FuSeGa (an old flash game I made). I wonder if those could be appeased by the addition of an arena to FetishQuest, as it's a similar game, just with fancier visuals and more gameplay elements (I definitely need to add more humanoid enemies).

Realistically BARE is the game that is most likely to get a sequel on SL. Because the slow gameplay means you don't have to worry as much about SL slowness. And I'm curious about making a PVE mode with animesh plus 2v2 fights. Also it's very easy to pick up and play, and profitable o/

I might look into it if there's ever a way to make animesh with 3ds max, as I don't particularly feel like learning blender and shelling out for Avastar just for a mini game.

Nothing much has changed in the platform section, but Windows 10 adoption  has increased. Last year W7 was still at 25%. One person uses Arch, glory onto you!

I added some new browsers to the list this year and also an option to select your own browser. I love that one person uses curl, and can be assumed to have an HTML/JS/CSS parser installed directly in their brain.

Interest in VR has increased. Last year it was at 50%.

AMD has gotten slightly more popular this year (left) compared to last year (right). Ryzen is real good yo.

No big changes on the various accounts, but I thought I'd post this year (left) and last year (right) because it might be interesting.

Nothing to really comment on here, but I think this data could be interesting for SL content creators.

Good to see that giving head is still the most widespread talent. Doing god's work there. Note: The 5.7% above trolling is Programming some other language. The 6.3% below writing is Animating 3D.

Because I started 3d printing last year I thought I might as well ask. Seems a fair amount of users are into it, so let me know if you want any STL files from any of my games to print.

I'm out of time for today, tomorrow will be the second half which has the always fun drama and fetish sections!

I'm shock to see Bare more popular then Fright.

I hinted at my thoughts in the survey, but you could definitely make a TIS/GOT style PVE adventure game with BARE style turnbased combat. i'll bet a thousand L$ that some sim owners would adopt that combat system for semi-RP sims if you keep the "PG mode" too. A simple to understand, gamey combat system that is as dice/RNG based as BARE but with interesting mechanics like multiple armor parts just BEGS for narrated adventures.
