Dregs are found at the bottom of the vampiric hierarchy, unloved offspring marked and transformed by the bestial nature of their sanguine legacy. They are driven by maddening hunger and the aching need to receive any semblance of acknowledgment from their creator. Once their hunger is satiated, they become even more dangerous, as the starved beast turns into a cunning predator, now pursuing its prey not out of desperation, but for its own debased amusement.
A fight against Vampire Dregs requires a bit of finesse, as your choices switch the Dreg from starving beast to calculated hunter, being forced to continuously feed via the Crimson Kiss to keep the maddening hunger at bay.

We love to create monsters that offer their own litte minigame to the encounter - many DMs don't enjoy combat encounters, because they can be a bit boring for them. Move, attack, repeat. The DM knows the monsters' capabilities, there is no real tension for them. Thats why we like to create monsters that bring their own little gimmicks to the table, so that the DM is actively playing instead of just going through the moves!
As always, there are of course magic items!
