Greetings everyone!

It's been a productive last several days, as I've made a good deal of progress establishing the baseline of the new comment system. Moving over to a database format has worked wonders, and now it's just a matter of filling out the content.

To that end, I hope everyone's had a chance to check out the job listing I posted last week as I expect the additional help to really speed this endeavor along. I'm going to leave the posting open until this Friday, the 15th, and will spend the next few days reviewing applications and reaching out to people. Given the applicant pool, I'm currently leaning towards selecting two people to help me hammer this out. Exciting times!

As great as all this is going, Alpha 6.1 is still going to be focusing primarily on Penny's content. This includes the expansion of her existing interactions, serum options, and events, with some extra focus on the turn she takes when John goes dom!

Since I don't have a lot to share in terms of development updates today, I thought now would be a great time to give everyone a status update on the game's artwork initiative!

For those not in the know, I've been working with an artist for the last year or so in an effort to generate 2D artwork for The Company. The short version is that I'm doing this for creative and potentially legal reasons, as well as to maintain continuity when character changes occur. Those who have played with the Paper Doll option enabled have already seen the artwork at... work... but I still encourage everyone to check out any posts with the art tag for more info.

So where are we now?

After a year of work, we've completed the paper dolls for the main character and the main cast of NPCs, including base clothing options, nudes, and expressions. Recently, we've finally completed the entire batch of generic action images as well!

With those two milestones met, we can finally start focusing on individual characters, building out the artwork assets needed for their interactions throughout the game.

Since Ava and Dakota currently have the most content in the game, I've decided they'd make for a good starting point! For the public, here's a preview of her in her office outfit, should you decide to take her down that path!

Default outfit on left, office outfit on right

Not bad, right? Patrons will be getting a preview of her after her Cat Collar's been on for a few days too long, while those in the Marketing Associate tier will get something a little more saucy (and in progress) later this week as well!

That's it for this week. I'm out of town for a couple days next week so the weekly update may be delayed.

As always, thank you all for your continued feedback and support!

Looking great! Cant wait to see Dakota's artwork

Based on your prediction, when will we be able to play the game with these artworks?

Lunaraia

seeing as there is ascene where Penny actually Doms the player and clearly states she had been looking forward to doing something like that, will there be an option for a mroe confident and dommy Penny using the serums?

Martin

*Ehem*, so...I don't mean to troll, buuut...about the paper dolls. I've definitely seen worse, but it's still bad. Bad as in: not hot. At all. If anything, parts of me are shrinking just from looking at them. Still not trolling, just being 100% honest.

Martin

Okay, so, I read me post over, and I definitely see that it may be taken as trolling. Therefore I apologize. Also, I'm not a patron of this project, so maybe my opinion is worth less, but I've been following it since its early stages on TFgames. This game is well made, with an intriguing story, good plot, interesting characters and amazing future possibilities. The creator hasn't skipped on anything, and when he/she feels like it's missing something they don't just add a little something extra, but instead get serious and make a whole damn comment system for every characters through every chapter. I respect that. However, these paper dolls, when compared to anything else in this game, seems so far off from other aspects. I notice that no one else is saying it, but I refuse to believe that I'm the only one who think it's bad, so I'll take the fall for fronting this opinion. The dolls are amateurish at best, unimaginative, boring, of bad quality and not sexy at all. This is what I honestly think.

Unfortunately I tend to agree with Martin. I really hope that this is not the final artwork that will be implemented. Honestly if it is then I hate to say this as I too enjoy the game on the whole, but this will ruin it for me. Sorry to say that.

Tommi

Wait...office outfit? Am I missing a whole path or something? When does she start wearing office clothes?

westane

No worries, opinions are great and I encourage you to have them! This is the final artwork, however keep in mind, from the FAQ... Q: I like the media you chose for the game, but it looks like you're replacing it with 2D artwork? A: I am commissioning artwork in parallel with the game's development with the intention of eventually making it the "official" media choice for the game. The current media style isn't going anywhere and will continue to receive priority development until the game's completion. This is being done to give me more complete ownership of the game in terms of marketability, creativity, and continuity. The current media offerings will always be an option.

westane

What? You mean to tell me that you haven't slipped Ava a tall glass of MCS-X in the post-game?

westane

At the current rate of development, I'm hoping by the end of the year. Nothing concrete, though.

Tommi

Haha I've been having so much fun trying different dominance levels in all the other stages that I don't think I've explored the post game all the way. I didn't want to finish and be done XD I definitely will now though

Martin

Just dont overwrite your main save, as the MCS-X locks the dosed characters to paths which aren't always the best outcome for everyone involved.

Tommi

Thanks! I usually restart every update anyways that was I can help look for potentially missed bugs

Martin

I've read the FAQ and seen you reply this info before, though it's good to know you still stand by it. I wholeheartily support you making the project "more your own", but I stand by my criticism that the paper dolls doesn't reflect your game's general quality.

Martin

Then I guess you're the person to ask if somewhere there's a detailed guide to transformation, or (specifically) if it's possible to transform from female to shemale without first turning into a male trans. I'm always bugged out by the utter horror that is the male trans images.

Tommi

Huh. Honestly I've never started as female! I guess that will be my next run... Hm. Maybe keep femininity high while increasing dominance? I never looked for a guide, I kind of have fun figuring it out as I go. But I'll give it a try.

Tommi

Oh, speaking of bugs. After transforming to sissy, when arriving at work during chapter 2, it gives the paragraph where it's just your luck how everyone is there and they start to look at you, but it skipped the scene to have the mc attend the meeting at Sophie's office about the incident with the hurt girl.

Never see changes after Ava take the cat callor. Can anyone tell me what should happen after that?

westane

Currently it's mostly a flavor change, as well as making certain interactions with her easier. It's something you get a lot more mileage out of if you give it to her before you start corrupting her.

DJ Quinn

It's be nice it it turned her into a cat girl or changed interactions with the dog MSX sis. Might be a little harder to implement since it can be put on the MC, though.

Anonymous

You spoke of an Ava office route can you point me to where I can get info to reach that?

Tommi

I don't think there's a way without going trans first, sorry. Or at least, I can't find a way.
