The Company - Alpha 6.0.2 - Release Notes

Content Updates

  • Chapter 3 has been added in its entirety!
  • Story content now extends to November 2nd
    • This includes several events starting from the end of Chapter 2
  • New personal events have been added to the game. These events act much like random conversations do, only they occur at fixed times and involve player interaction. Some of these events are contingent on players meeting certain goals by certain times.
    • Penny's personal event will occur after the lab accident
    • Chris' personal events will occur at night at home on certain days
    • Diana's personal events will occur if you've dosed her to yield information on The Company before September 21st
  • One notable event will occur on Saturday, October 21st, where you will have the option of spending the day with Penny, Tasha, Chris, or Lauren. Each character will have their own requirements to appear as an option for that day
  • Some additional flavor text has been added to the morning drive if the player is a Sissy or a Bimbo
  • Some additional dialogue has been added to the drivers depending on the month and day
  • Some additional contextual text has been added for the store clerks
  • Removed event with Diana and Sophie in the records office. It didn't contribute anything to the game and made for awkward scheduling display issues
  • Added new dialogue when getting into bed with Ava after dosing her to kiss you
  • Random conversations at home and work can no longer occur at Night
  • Chris has been recast in the game
    • Chris' events are now Personal Events which trigger at home at night. There are still only three events at the moment, but they'll attempt to trigger almost every Thursday night, starting September 14th, until you've experienced all three
    • The option to call Chris has been removed
    • The existing interactions with Chris have been polished significantly
  • All characters have now been added to the Notebook
  • MCS-X event now unlocks after November 2nd
  • Added day-trip event for Tasha if you're romantically involved with her
  • Added new conversations, notes, and dreams

System Updates

  • Once you've reached the end of current story content, you'll be prompted to save your game at that point. Saving past that point will result in save incompatibility in future releases
  • You will now be prompted to choose whether or not this is the first time you've played The Company. Selecting "No" will unlock the chapter select and cheats fields during character creation
  • You can now rename your family members during character creation
  • Added an option in your bedroom to have your door either locked or unlocked in the morning. If it's locked, Ava will not be able to interact with you in the morning
    • Additionally, locking your door will prevent your naps from getting interrupted
  • Getting into bed with Ava or Dakota will now result in not having random night events
  • Missions/Quests such as making the CMD-1 in Chapter 1 or helping Penny in Chapter 3 are called "Tasks"
    • Tasks will be tracked in the sidebar for as long as they're active
    • Once a task has been completed, it will remain complete even if the requirements are no longer met
  • Love has been renamed Relationship and now scales to 100
    • Getting Relationship to go past 70 has additional requirements as this is considered a romantic relationship
    • Relationship notifications have been updated to reflect how much your Relationship was impacted
    • Increases and decreases in Relationship will now notify you of meeting any milestones
  • Lust has been renamed Corruption and now scales to 100
  • Dominance has been renamed Willpower
  • Doubled material cost of MCS-1, MCS-2, MCS-3, and MCS-X
  • Hard difficulty has been adjusted to be slightly less impossible
  • New chapter transitions have been added when starting a new chapter
  • The sidebar now has links to The Company's Patreon, Discord, and woefully incomplete official walkthrough

Fixes

  • Fixed some incorrect location notes
  • Fixed a metric ton of spelling/grammar errors

I play as a male sub, meaning getting chastity belt on asap and having gender transformation disabled. Always bothered me that Penny was never an option because of that, since she only seemed interested in intercourse. So I enjoyed, that during the trip to a certain place, she finally told the MC to go down on her, when she saw that he is locked up. :) Would be nice to get that option for the repeatable action too, once we are back in the lab. Actually would love to have a path empowering Penny in general, since she seems to be even smarter than the MC, and surely could come up with some stuff to make the MC subservient to her.

one route I feel that always gets ignored and would love to see a bigger focus on is the dominant john route. Though its probably ignored since it seems nobody goes that route except me.

Would it be too much of an update to include in the notebook (or when you try to serum someone) a little more detail on what you need to do to get to the next stage? Like "Tasha doesn't like you enough for what you have in mind yet" or "Chanal isn't corruptible enough for what you have in mind". There is a great message for if John is too dominate when you try to serum Tasha...I just don't know how much content is still there that I'm missing.

Please someone what do I have to do for Tasha to accept relationship beyond 70 before the Halloween event? I have beaten my head on my desk and cant figure it out. :(

so I have been playing this game on and off over the past year and while I love what you have been doing with it alot and am really happy to see a new update, with that said I was wondering why is there no Chastity Belt for the female characters you have a chastity cage for the trans and male PC's so why nothing for the female as it fells a bit off and kinda unfair also with the mysterious strap-on it would also be nice if you could put a chastity cage on Ava

Wish there was away on the score board to place the specific path the character was traveling would make it easier if you forget.

Thanks for adding the Gender Lock. I remember playing a much earlier release and my only real misgiving was the Sissy/TG railroading when trying to play a male sub. In the future it would be nice if the lock could be tightened somewhat to make some flavor text less feminizing (eg. buttplug making you feel girly, strapon actions making you more feminine, etc.), but I understand the value of giving as much telegraphy/feedback as possible during Alpha. It would also be great to see more femdom that doesn't require chastity (Diana riding you / Dee ordering oral were both great). I understand that chastity is a convenient way of flagging characters as submissive, but hopefully later in development, the submissivness stat, relationship progress, or other factors can substitute (similar to Chastity itself substituting for being Sissy in some current paths). Final suggestion would be a wider variety of gifs for general sex actions. There's obviously no shortage of porn gifs out there and it does get tiring seeing the same oral, orgasm, etc. image over and over. Edit: Poked around the HTML and it looks like there is an image handler, so ideally all you'd need is a few images of each type (mf-oral-1, mf-oral-2, etc.) and to add some RNG handling to those widgets). Not a priority, but would go a long way if you have time to add more variety at some point! Anyway, obviously enjoying the game and appreciate the public update. Thanks and keep up the good work!

is Sophie's romance done ? ,doesn't seem to be working ,walk through says you can can call her in the evening for dates , that isn't working atm , also I should say its been fun thus far

One bug I have found is that when you have romanced Tasha, and you can call her, you can do it endlessly in the morning.

just checked ,not working ,i am past the soft stop tbh mostly I kept trying to get it to work ,got relationship to 70 (no clue how to get it higher but figured it was with the night time dates ,cuz weekend trips didn't push it over 70 , on the evening dates is it any night of the week or just Friday nights ? etc ..

You should be playing either through the Play Online link or the download links above. I really can't support it otherwise. As for Sophie, the evening date initiated via the phone will only trigger on Saturday or Sunday.

Take Penny on 2 dates, outside of work so you can get access to her apartment. And for Tasha you need to have her love status at, What I last checked, was 70.
