5.2 - Preparing Penny (Patreon)

I've been hard at work preparing the next release, this time focusing on Penny's interactions. I'm also using this release to clean up some of the more prominent bugs that have been reported since 5.2.12, so I'm hoping this patch will also provide some much-needed stability in addition to fun-time with Penny!

I thought that maybe I'd do something a little different and try to provide a more detailed breakdown of what's actually being worked on so you have an idea of what's coming and how far along it is. I'll find a better way to format this in the future, but for now let's give it a try!

The Company - 5.2c Progress

• Add Love/Lust adjustments to work events for coworkers - 100%
• Update existing minor game mechanics - 100%
• Update Penny's existing content - 80%
• Add access to Penny's apartment - 90%
• Add content to Penny's living room - 95%
• Add content to Penny's bedroom - 50%
• Address reported bugs - 70%

I don't know how valuable that kind of information is to people, so please let me know if it's something you'd care to see more of or not! With the way things are working out, I'm hoping to have this update released to patrons within a week's time, and a public release a week later.

The big thing left to work on is the interactive event in Penny's bedroom. Unlike other characters' interactive scene's so far, there isn't a forced action option here, and will instead focus on building a relationship with Penny. That's not to say the scene won't have anything new or interesting, though! I'm hoping to get a pre-alpha build with the bedroom content out within the next couple days.

One of the major bugs I'm looking to fix in this release is one that involves breaking the bounds of time if you're unlucky with certain random events. One person PM'd me asking when Chapter 2 content starts, informing me they had just reached September 51st... In addition, I'll be making another pass on the player TF values, specifically focusing on Sissy and Shemale rates.

On to the next item...

I wanted to talk about recent events in the community for a moment. As many of you are aware, and as many developers are keenly aware, Patreon is in something of a volatile state at the moment. There's really no sense discussing why things have become this way, or who's ultimately to blame, as in the end this is something none of us have any real control over.

That said, Patreon is still my preferred platform for content and information distribution and at this very moment, I have no intention of changing that. I have contingencies lined up should the day ever come that that needs to change, but until it does I intend to stay put.

Of course, measures need to be taken to ensure The Company remains in compliance for as long as possible. This effectively boils down to referring to characters by their first names (Ava, Dakota, etc.) and locking adult content behind Patron-Only posts. There may also come a need for me to moderate posts, like last week. If this happens and I end up deleting your post, don't take it personally, don't think I'm mad at you, just be understanding. If there's a problem, just PM me and I'll be more than happy to talk about it!
