The big change with this patch is the complete overhaul of the serum system, converting it into a proper crafting system. Here's the highlights:

  • Serums no longer cost money
  • Each serum requires a certain amount of chemical components to create, and each component takes time to prepare
  • Having Penny assist with preparing materials will increase your yield of those materials by 50%
  • Having Penny assist with creating serums will negate the time required to create that serum
  • Due to the new time requirements to prepare serums, the cooldown for using a serum on someone is a flat one day for that person
  • The awkward "Using the lab budget for non-work purchases takes 10x as much money" system is now gone as a result. Money is now your own money, rather than the lab fund. Getting paid on Monday morning does not yet reflect this, though the payment value has been adjusted. Until the shopping system is added, there's not a lot of value in money yet.
  • Penny's Panties random event and Take Sister to the Movies random event have not been updated to reflect the change of funding

Not sure if you want it here, but things seem to be mixed up. I was building towards crafting CMD-1 and it was reading I had 0 Diazepam and 0 Ketamine in the crafting option. Despite having the required amount. I noticed that the counts of each drug reflected as Antiadrogens and Estrogens for crafting TFM-1. When I crafted Estrogens to test it, Ketamine.

Hey, just a heads up in case you don't already know, but anytime I try to talk to john in his office, the text becomes the same as if you brought him a beer, and the option to leave the conversation and go back to the lab or hallway is no longer available.
