Cheesy title, sure, but also true in several ways for me! We're gonna break this one up a little, as there's a few things I want to talk about this week.

Development Changes and Evolution:
I've always been interested in game design, ever since I was a kid making simple RPG/Simulation games in QBASIC. Interestingly enough, this is the first digital game project that I've actually ever committed to seeing through, and as a result, there's a lot I'm learning along the way. It was only a couple weeks ago that I started keeping an error log, and writing out the basic structure and flow of the game's story and features. It's been an enlightening experience, and I'm excited to go into my next project armed with everything I've learned from this one. At this point, the entire game is mapped out, and it's only a matter of coding the desired functionality, following my outline, and writing the story!

Unfortunately, this lead to a state where half of the game is configured in such a way that makes it look like I actually know what I'm doing, while the other half is more "ZOMG WHAT DO THESE THINGS DO!?". It's rough, but that leads to the next point.

Alpha 0.4.1 Will Focus on Cleaning up the Game:
I mean, the code. The game will still be dirty. A lot of what you can expect to see in the next alpha release will pertain entirely to cleaning up and expanding on the game in its current state, and as it will not feature any additional story content, I may limit the release to Patreon while reserving the major 0.5 built for the public when it's ready.

This update will bring serum dosing mechanics in line with how they're handled with your coworkers, as well as extending serum paths to accommodate MCS-2. John's sub path as well as Dakota's path are both being revised to feel more natural, as well as allow for more content. John's dom path is also being revised to serve as an actual playable path that will take you through to the game's end. Finally, your "good friend from college, Chris" is being added as another male character who can be interacted with on weekday evenings, and will serve as a relationship option. Chris will allow for a less abusive male relationship option than John, and will open up the path for willing feminization for male player characters. Those are the major features, but there are several minor updates as well!

Taking Patreon More Seriously:
When I set up Patreon, it was something I did because it just seemed like the "think you do" when you making something. Now that I'm taking the development of my game more seriously, I'm going to step up my Patreon game as well.

One major change is that starting on September 4th, $1, $2 and $3 tiers are going away. Basically, you're either a Patreon at $5 or not, and that's not meant to be an ultimatum or money grab or anything like that, I'm just trying to make the setup clean and simple.

Nothing will change for existing Patreons, except that if you're currently in the $1/$2 tier you'll start receiving these dev posts. People who started at the $2 tier will still have their name on the start screen of the game, and those who started in the $5 tier will still have their names emphasized. There is no need for anyone to change their tier if they don't want to, this is just for moving forward. All Patreons who pledge after September 4th will have their names in a Contributors section accessible from the game's disclaimer page.

I wanted to thank everyone again for your support, I can't emphasize enough how much it means to me. I hope everyone looks forward to what's to come!
