I am so sorry (Patreon)

Hey guys,

How are you all doing? I know you guys are frustrated about the progress now. Yeah, I get that. Believe me, it's been production hell on my side too. All the testings, all the trainings and all the discussions with my fellow partners and artists. And here I am now, finally understanding the importance of employment contract.

Yeah I am going to show everyone what I have been up to now. I cannot tolerate low quality work. I understand that my deadline is always very tight. But I pay my artist well. Well enough that they don't need to look for another job. 8-10 pages per month, fully colored. That has always been my standard operation procedure. The artist went berserk because he said there was not enough time for him to finish the pages and then the colorist who was supposed to get the pages done couldn't get new pages. And he produced me with shitty works like you see on the first page. (And it was after 3 times of adjustments) I don't even dare to show you guys the work due to the quality. So i had enough and decided to ask for another favor among my friends.

So i get rid of the guy and officially hire someone from DC to do my work. Yes, he is more professional in my opinion. After 2 years of working in my company and I got promoted to a senior position, got some pay raise... yeah I will increase my budget in my main project. LIKE I ALWAYS SAID, QUALITY IS MY MAIN CONCERN. I don't want to produce shitty things that I dont like because that way, I lose money and time. And believe me, pages like these, they are not cheap. I think some of my friends who did commissions would know.

Some of you might think that I use the money from your supports to do my own personal things. Let me clarify this here and now: the funds that I collected from you guys are for one purpose and one purpose ONLY. For this project. From the first day I poured my time, energy and money into this project, it has been like that since day one. I am fortunate enough to have some people who are willing to stay with me despite this chaos I am facing here. I can't thank you guys enough. It's my fault to manage the people poorly. After this lesson, I hope that my capacity can return to normal again. I don't wanna use flowery words to calm you, now I can only show you my work to prove my sincerity.

I hope you guys like the new (and permanent) artists of mine in this new beginning of the studio. Those who are still with me, thank you so much. I love you all. No more promises, I feel rotten for saying that. Let me show you. Will update you guys soon when the pages are ready. And yes, very soon. As always, stay safe and healthy guys.
