SFM as an animation program is actually pretty good for making smooth fluid animation. Since it uses the same tools alot of other animation programs use. The limitations SFM have is the limited 32bit engine and lack of real-time bounce lighting. But you can get around alot of SFMs limits with tricks to make it look better. Normally using alot of lights, high sample count renders and such. Don't get me wrong though, a program like Blender would look way better and its something I do intend to move to once I have enough models and experience on that platform. Until then I'll just make do with SFM as it is still really good for Animation in general ^^
