Howdy and welcome! For those who don’t know me, my name is Lehanna, a collaborator on Chrysalis and the newest member of the HeartWorks creative team. It is with tremendous excitement that I introduce to you all a project I’ve been working on for the better part of this year: The Fairy Bride!

The Fairy Bride is an illustrated novel and companion piece to Chrysalis that gives classic fairy tales like ‘The Swan Maiden’ a modern, HeartWorks twist! It presents a chilling hypothetical to the ending of Chrysalis, Part I: In which L never escapes, Spencer performs the Rite, and the two seem destined to be Kept and Keeper for decades to come. With a colourful cast, new insights into the Fae, and more damsel moments than we can count!

We’re still working out an official release schedule, but you can look forward to the first official chapter being released this friday, July 7th.
