To be fair, Tom Hanks was a FANTASTIC romantic lead in Big. I'm guessing that George hasn't seen that, so THAT would be a GREAT reaction for you guys!! :)

rudy, field of dreams, and miracle are must sees.. miracle has some historical political context to it as well which makes it more interesting . 2 out of the three of these are based on true stories

I cosign the many other comments suggesting Vanilla Sky. An even better Crowe/Cruise film. Also an awesome "reaction" movie. A bunch of very classic reactable scenes.

I think this movie has some wonderful moments, and it's beautifully acted, I just can't take the romance seriously on any level. The ending feels like Jerry "settling" desperately for this sweet woman and her child because -- as always -- he can't be alone.
