Thanks George and Simone for viewing this one! I have to admit, I did see the earlier Evil Dead films, but never really recognized Bruce Campbell until this film (one of my Top 100 - for multiple reasons), and the later TV SERIES - THE ADVENTURES OF BRISCOE COUNTY JR., where he plays a bounty hunter. This series literally only lasted one season (1993-1994 - playing just before the first season of the great X-FILES series). The Briscoe County series is really fun and campy as all Bruce Campbell entries are, and usually can only be found on DVD. IF you have any inkling, please consider BRISCOE COUNTY JR. as a series (definitely a throwback, of course) as a series to view. SO much fun and really a good look into a different Bruce Campbell.

Loved the reaction guys! Bruce is an absolute legend! Had the chance to see him a few times at Fan Expo in Toronto giving Q&As, and he is a true entertainer. The man clearly loves what he does, and it shows. As far as the rest of the franchise goes, the 2013 remake and Evil Dead Rise, while going back to serious horror tone, are both worth watching, especially the 2013 remake. However, above all else, whenever you're done with some of your ongoing TV series, I STRONGLY recommend watching Ash VS Evil Dead. It was an absolute banger of a show, with Bruce returning, along with an amazing cast.

I would love a reaction to Brisco County. Unfortunately, at its peak, it only ever garnered a cult following, and even that seems to have dwindled in recent years. I don't even think it's available on any streaming services these days.

2013 is same universe, not a remake. Raimi and Campbell both confirmed it. :)
