If you want to see Jason as the killer, he appears in Part 2. Parts 2, Part 3, and Part 4 are my tied for my favorite Friday the 13th movies. I love that all of them take place a little over a week. Just a week of Jason killing people. I'd highly recommend reacting to them.

I think Simone was on to something, everyone Mrs. Vorhees killed before Alice was by surprise/ambush. Without that surprise she's just a 50-something year old woman. Still dangerous with a weapon but she doesn't have supernatural strength or fighting skills so a lot of her advantage is gone.

Simone won't like this but, sadly, the snake in this moive was a pet, and an animal actor. He was borrowed from a guy whom Tom Sabini knew, and legit slain on set, in that very scene where the snake shows up. To me, it is no different than if they would have killed that dog on set, and I am still mad about that. Tom deserves a fuck you for that. as they killed the snake via his directive.
