The funniest most awkward sex scene I have ever seen is Keanu Reeves in Destination Wedding from 2018................offbeat movie worth the effort

John C. Reilly is also a great dramatic actor. Check out Magnolia with Tom Cruise.

There is a gag reel from this movie. Not sure why they didn't put it at the end but here it is - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8zqvjmFcztw

Interestingly the infamous drum set scene is actually in the theatrical cut too. The only significant scene that's in the unrated cut that isn't in the theatrical version is the Christmas dinner sex scene. A couple more suggestions for movies in the same vein are Wedding Crashers and Old School.

Please please please check out "Walk Hard" with John C. Reilly. It's amazing!

Well, now you both have seen the bunk bed scene that Roy in Ted Lasso thought was the funniest thing he'd ever seen until he witnessed Jamie playing decoy at practice.

George's point about two over-the-top comedy giants being the only way to not think the situation was super messed up reminds me of Mystery Science Theater 3000 (1988 onward), where a guy and two puppets watch bad movies and make fun of them (the original CineCringe!). The creator - Joel - said the puppets give them a lot of leeway, because if a joke is too awful, raunchy, etc., they'd have one of the robot puppets say it, because people would let them get away with way more than they would with a person. Side note: George and Simone reacting to MST3K reacting to bad movies would be pure chaos.

I wonder if the looking to the side was born of the boredom that portrait photographers must have felt taking the same 'everyone looking at the camera' photo a thousand times a year. I had a high school friend who always had to get group shots in front of everything, and she showed me her photo album once, and it was her and random people with her in page after page of photos, always staring straight forward, big smile, with random things behind them, like a monument, a bar, a famous building... It started to look insane, like portraits of a psychopath, wide eyed, unblinking, smiling, as the world changed behind them. Then many years later, people started making these montages of people who have a 'photo pose' (which you know they all practiced a ton in front of a mirror): https://izispicy.com/2009/04/17/people_who_look_exactly_the_same_in_all_pictures_5_gifs.html And then duck face became a thing... https://tenor.com/view/same-face-selfie-duckface-white-girl-gif-14525444

I can't say much more than to check out Bugsnax and/or specifically, well, "Bunger." Words don't do the experience justice.

Still need to do "The Other Guys" as well. They'd love that one. Will Farrell, The Rock, Samuel L. Jackson, Mark Wahlberg, Michael Keaton and Eva Mendez.... come on George, you know you wanna see that lol.
