In my opinion, both sequels are absolutely worth the watch. Man, I hadn't watched the first one in a long time, and it really is just as good as I remembered.

There are also 3 Netflix series/short movies. there is a short film called Dawn of the Dragon Racers that takes place after movie 1 and leads into the series Race to the Edge which leads up to a few months before the 2nd movie. It's been years since I watched them, but if I remember they were pretty good. I don't think the animation quality and music is quite up there with the films, but still quality dreamworks animation.
