"Amadeus" is an amazing movie. It is not meant to be seen as an accurate historical movie but that's a masterpiece. It is the best F. Murray Abraham performance in a movie

Naturekitty5309

Chevy Chase.. can we add Foul play and Seem like old times. To your list.

Odd Thomas

I like Terminator 3. While it's not as good as the first two it is far better than people say

Odd Thomas

An underrated Charles Dance film where he's a good guy: Alien 3. Fincher's first film. I absolutely love that movie, it's so unfairly maligned. The score is amazing too; top 5 for me

Jay Davis

Well... now you hafta put Fletch in your polls... and Caddyshack... and National Lampoo... you know what. Nevermind. I won't DRIVE you about Chevy Chase. Hmm? Huh?

Anonymous

I believe the henchman butler was a play on the villain Oddjob from a Bond movie.

offbrandhotdogs

George, the rom-com parody movie you're looking for is Not Another Teen Movie

I recommend the Sarah Connor Chronicles, a Terminator TV series which was, sadly, cancelled after the second season. Arnold makes no appearance, but it has Summer Glau.

Moni Castaneda

mmmmm, "reverse bear trap", Key in the toilet reminds you of another movie... I think I know wich movie you watched... or should I say... wich movie you "saw"....

JediLounger

So I said this when you guys watched the first Nightmare on Elm Street. You guys should watch those, and then watch the Scream movies. It would be worth it, and you would love the overall meta. I would also endorse you guys watching Terminator 3. It does not compare to Terminator 2, but how can it? Following up one of the greatest sequels ever made, they did the best they could. You guys really enjoyed the T2 for the comedy, and they bring that back in the sequel, the movie is very self aware. Plus the new terminator is legitimately terrifying, the person playing it does a great job. Terminator Salvation is an interesting movie. I like a lot of it(action, effects, overall story), but they needed to change some things in the script so the audience would find out about some plot points at the same time as the people in the movie. I think it would have been received better.

PIG

Welp. Now you have to watch Amadeus now. An incredible movie.

wroot

I was going to say that was Jim Belushi and he starred with Arnold in Red Heat :) Well, that's not the most liked and often forgotten, but i kind of like it. Arnold doing Russian accent is something :D

akaTheBARON

🖤I feel validated as a fan of this movie that not only did this movie get put on a poll, won the poll, and was enjoyed by you two. I loved this movie as a kid, and still do to this day, but have seen so much criticism about it and never understood why. When Deadpool breaks the 4th wall everyone loves it, but when Arnie does it in the 90's its dumb I guess LOL. I think its one of those movies that got a fanbase over time I suppose. And Simone was right about Kevlar vests. When they get shot they will sort of break/get damaged. So they COULD take a 2nd shot but they're generally considered one-time use.

Amadeus is an amazing movie. Junior is the movie where Arnold is pregnant cinecringe worthy, none of the terminator movie after 2 are worth it really, they go from meh to bad but not in a fun way

Ghostwriter

This movie has such a great, fun concept. There's probably not a lot of crossover between Arnold Schwarzenegger fans and Jane Austen fans, but one TV series from 2008 with a very similar concept and plot is Lost in Austen (but using Pride & Prejudice tropes instead of action movie ones).

Young Blood Priest

Is this the first multi-verse movie? @akaTheBaron: I agree. When I saw this movie I had a great time and so did everyone else in the theater. My wife and I were shocked when we saw reviewers on tv trashing it. I’m really glad Simone & George enjoyed it tho. I forgot about the cameos. Damon Wayans, MC Hammer and the T-1000 terminator, made me shout and point at the screen. Made my day.

Chints' Miniature Mistakes

J. Murray plays Salieri, Mozart's professional rival in a movie about Mozart called Amadeus. And well.. now you know what "Practice" does in Amadeus. Also if you liked this then definitely check out the animated "Wreck it Ralph"! Same concept, but with video game characters.

djKENTO

It would get no views but my favorite Macbeth is Akira Kurosawa’s Throne of Blood.

Gary Fixler

The guy on the red carpet who didn't like Arnold ("Arnold really turns her on, and I just want to be there when it happens"). That's actor Jim Belushi. His brother, John, was one of the 7 original cast members of SNL, and one of the The Blues Brothers (1977), with Dan Akroyd. John would've been in a lot more, but he OD'd in '82. I think Jim's in this movie, not liking Arnie as a joke, because they starred together in Red Heat (1988) 5 years earlier, where they played an odd-couple cop and detective forced to partner up to take down a bad guy. Edit: And I just got to the very end, where you both figured out it was Jim Belushi :-D

Raven Dark

What a great reaction, guys. I only saw this movie twice, and it was a long time ago, so I didn't remember much. I forgot how good it was. It's totally bonkers, but I love it. If I went into a movie, I would love to end up in Harry Potter. Though knowing my luck, I would end up as a Muggle. LOL

Gary Fixler

Oh, and the guy who stopped Arnold on the stairs - "Arnold, deal's done, right?" Slater V soundtrack!" - that's M.C. Hammer. While we're at it - that was actually Sharon Stone in her Basic Instinct attire at the police station, and Robert Patrick also pushes past them (the T-100 from T2: Judgement Day). I'm not sure if you recognized Tina Turner (RIP) early in the film, who's with the guy Arnold sucker punches in the nose as he's heading toward the building his chief doesn't want him to enter. There were others, too, like Tony Danza, Damon Wayans, and James Cameron.

Raven Dark

Oh, I left my above comment while you guys were still talking. The one Simone was talking about where Arnold is preggers is called Junior. It's actually pretty good. It doesn't sound like it would work, but it totally does. In my opinion, the only good Terminator movies are 1 and 2. The third film is too far of a step down. But there are a some people who like it. Also, you two should totally do both Twins and Kindergarten Cop. They're both great.

Einherj

I stopped watching TV over 20 years ago. It was just full of commercials and crap. You could buy or rent everything that was on and without ads.

Alan Kobb

Chevy Chase yelling at a deer sounds like National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation.

Haye Zeus

The movie has become a cult classic but it was a big time bomb when it came out. It didn’t leave much of a cultural impact like other Arnold movies. Still the kids who saw it like me loved it. If you were an Arnold fan this was so much fun. And it showed the guy can poke fun of himself which made him more endearing. But I guess people back then weren’t ready for that? I think there was Arnold fatigue at the time as well. I really don’t know why it didn’t become a hit. But I still love it and glad that you guys enjoyed it.

Haye Zeus

And I would also like to recommend Amadeus. It’s an awesome move even if it’s historically inaccurate. But I love it so definitely needs to be on the watch list

Joe Mallard

That was a very entertaining reaction. Oh and Simone, your hair is looking great!

Mati D.

Time to watch Amadeus, it won 8 Oscars.

End of Days is an underrated Arnie movie, And you might enjoy his recent Netflix series Fubar, which is basically True Lies but 30 years older.

Brian Harris

I wrote out a whole comment trying to explain the historical accuracy of the Mozart joke, but there’s no way to do it without spoiling Amadeus. Just watch it. Trust us. One of the best movies ever made. Also, I had not seen this in twenty years and I gotta tell you, I feel completely vindicated for loving it when it first came out. It’s so ahead of its time. If it came out today, it would have launched a franchise.

This movie is easily in the top three of my all time favorite movies.

Tanx

this movie had such a great soundtrack. remember getting on tape and then later on cd when i was a kid. the 555 thing is designated for movies because it used to be directory assistance. now it's just a non-assigned number combination for US phones. otherwise movie production companies would get in trouble when someone started getting random calls from people asking for movie characters. I wish this movie had done better in theaters. loved this world and it had so many openings for sequels. F. Murray Abraham played Salieri in Amadeus where he basically considered Mozart his nemesis. Also another good 90s action movie that is pretty unique is Cliffhanger with Stallone. Would also be good to watch if you are planning to watch Ace Ventura 2. If I landed in a movie I would do Star Wars. Would steal a dead Jedi's lightsaber after the purge and fly a light freighter back into the real world. Or maybe a One Piece movie and steal a devil fruit. Or Star Trek and steal holodeck tech and make millions getting someone to reverse engineer it.

Steve H

"I thought Mozart died at home? lol. Watch "Amedeas"

IncredibleBulk

hmmm what movie would i jump into... maybe Android Night Punch

Great reaction. I guess I'd be Happy Gilmore's caddy :P

Tim Pierce

A great sequel to this would have been Schwarzenegger going INTO the movie and having to pretend to be Jack Slater. The reverse fish out of water.
