When are you doing The Wire Season 3????

Throwing out a suggestion for the HBO limited series Station Eleven. It’s another post-apocalyptic show, but with a much greater focus on civilization, art, and the redeeming aspects of humanity. It’s a really amazing series, and would make a great reaction.

I hope you play the game and upload it to Youtube. Would be interesting to see someone playing it for the first time after watching the show.

Neither of them really seem to care about or notice the trauma Ellie went through. That's why she was acting the way she was at the very end of 8 and the beginning of 9.

George picked an interesting place for his pro cannibalism thought experiment 😅

Travis

George too busy dreaming of scenarios where he could eat people

Simone is exactly on point. The problem with both sides is, that neither asked what Ellie wanted. Just take the time, talk to her, and let her decide. Joel and Marlene decided for her - either way. Just let her decide for herself. And all of the bloodshed could have been spared... . And I write this especially from the point of knowing what happens down the line in Game 2. PS: Simone, you identified Ashley Johnson. Did you see Laura Bailey?

They might start filming season 2 this year. Reports say that they film in Vancouver.

Josh

You would let a child decide whether they will die or not🤨

Joel in the game is a-lot more brutal and heartless. He was sort of softened for this show, but these last two episodes really showcase how brutal he is closer to what he was in the game.

No one can convince me that Joel was the villain in this. They want to paint the grand idea that the Firefly could actually come up with a "cure" if Ellie sacrificed herself. Firstly, that quack doctor first step is not to perform more testing before deciding to kill their ONLY subject who is immune? Secondly, even if they were right, they are not going to have the capabilities to cultivate and distribute said cure Lastly, Even with the "cure" they can still die from massive horde such as the one encountered in episode 5. At this point, they are better off rebuilding society and trying to get more Ellie descendants. Killing an innocent and completely healthy girl for the sake of giving yourself false hope? The fireflies are the villains.

You're rationalizing an interpretation that isn't part of the story's narrative.
