lol Jesse "The Body" Ventura has had quite the career, he was in the Navy, a pro wrestler in the WWE(WWF at the time), an actor(Predator, Demolition Man, and plenty more action movies) oh and then he decided to take it easy and just be the Governor of Minnesota. Yup two future governors in Predator...who'd have thought.

When it comes to accurate portrayals of the future, the movie that immediately comes to mind is the Denzel Washington/Bruce Willis movie The Siege. It’s not sci-fi, but for a movie released in 1998, it is STUNNINGLY accurate in predicting the next 10-15 years of US history.

The movie is VERY loosely based on the novel by Richard Bachman aka Stephen King. In the book he is hunted down but out in the world, not an arena, and not by cheesy characters like these. It had a much darker ending too.
