Dang, was super-excited to watch along, but it looks like it's the version that's hard to find. Shoot!

Wow, there are so many scenes in this version I never saw, apparently cut from the US version. The dough scene was there, but the amazing Thriller dance sequence after it was cut. The beauty salon and the introduction of Mui to the friends and her fighting her boss and him turning her down, and him talking to her boss, and her crying into the dough was all missing - that changes her whole story! The meeting on the golf course, and the tour bus leaving the hotel wasn't there. The bit about drugs from the US was cut. The locker room scene was cut... I'm loving seeing so much new stuff after all this time. I first saw this 20+ years ago, while crashing on a friend's couch. I found it in his DVDs after he went to bed, no idea what it was, and never even heard of Stephen Chow, so I had no idea what I was in for. I ended up scream/cry laughing into a couch pillow about 20x, trying not to wake him up in the next room. Her walking into the goal post, then it's the wrong goal - I laughed so hard I hurt myself.
