My most fervent hope at this point is that season 2 of the Expanse consists of 3 or 4 episodes... Something that comes up in the Wire several times is a proffer session. If the prosecutor is going to offer immunity or a plea bargain based on future testimony, they need to know what you will testify to. That's what D'Angleo was in when he was giving up everything he knew. Any info gained in a proffer cannot be used in court, it's not yet testimony.
