More of Joaquin Phoenix: Her(2013) to go to a completely different movie would love a reaction to that

I think the neighbor is dead. In this kind of world, in that kind of neighborhood, it might be weeks before the neighbor's body is found. Also, he didn't kill the daughter, he just left her and she was there, sleeping next to her mother's body until she was discovered by the police who came to investigate Arthur's home after he was arrested.

First of all, it's very good that you got it with the handwriting, George. Because it was all there that it was just made up by his mother and no, Simone, it's easy to think that rich people can do whatever they want, but even they can't do everything. Also, it would cost many times more to forge documents, bribe people and do everything right instead of just paying a settlement and having that debited through a corporate account or a lawyer. Regarding the neighbor, I don't think he killed her like he didn't kill Gary, and for the same reason: she was never bad to him, in fact she didn't really know him at all.

I agree with Simone about the neighbor (that's Domino in Deadpool btw), one thing about all the people we know for a fact that he killed, the three frat boy trader assholes, the other clown (who played the killer in True Detective btw), even his mother, they all did something to hurt him. Gary for instance, he let go, because Gary never did anything to deliberately hurt him, and neither did the neighbor. However, I think that after he becomes full on THE Joker, that sense of morality might be gone, he seems more like a full on nihilist by that point, I mean Murray did intentionally mock him on national television, so from Arthur's stand point he had it coming, but he also definitely killed that relatively innocent lady at the end, but it could be argued that she, for one, reminded him of the woman from earlier who "never listens", or, two, she simply stood in the way of his self-actualization. Wow, so there IS going to be a sequel, that's news to me and I'm all for it, can't even begin to praise Joaquin Phoenix, he's a fuckin master. Speaking of which, you guys NEED to watch "The Master", Phillip Seymour Hoffman is also fuckin amazing in that. And for more unhinged brilliance from Joaquin Phoenix I also recommend "You Were Never Really Here".

I hate this movie. 🤣 glad people enjoy it but I can't stand this film.

I agree. I mean I like the idea of that's what created the joker but hate the makeup and clothes joker wears.

When you see him in the dressing room before going on live TV, you'll notice the angles of his mouth makeup isn't symmetrical (his right side points farther up, while his left side points more lateral). At the end when he's standing on the hood of the police car with his arms outstretched above the crowd, he holds his arms in the same angles as the mouth makeup. No big deal, but a fun little touch nonetheless ;D

I think the animated series is the best version of Batman. The art style and the music by Shirley Walker are so good. Danny Elfman did the intro theme. I don't think Mark Hamill Joker is very similar to this. He is more like the comic version. The series has some weaker episodes early on but it gets better. Mask of the Phantasm animated movie is based on it.
