Kurk Russell is also funny in "Captain Ron" - back in the day this movie (Big Trouble in Littlr China) was fun to watch.

I'm a new subscriber, so I'm a little late to the party on this one. This has been my favorite movie since I first saw it in 1986 (yeah I'm old). It was way ahead of its time. Just want to speak on a couple of things at the end of the movie. In 2015, a series of comics started (I can't remember the other author, but John Carpenter collaborated with them) that picks up right when the movie ends. As zany as the movie is, the comics reallly go crazy, but that first issue touches on a couple of things I find satisfying. 1. The reason why he didn't kiss Gracie goodbye. The comic showed that at one time Jack Burton was married. As his wife died of cancer, he kissed her, and said that he would never kiss another woman goodbye. 2. The monster. Apparently, this was a "lesser demon" and its master was Lo Pan, so when Jack killed Lo Pan, Jack became its new master.
