Christopher Nolan films a lot of scenes in his movies in IMAX. The change in aspect ratio is due to scenes converting between the 35mm to the IMAX 70mm. Also, he doesn't do ADR. All dialogue audio is from the live performances which is why it's difficult to understand at times.

For me, personally, Nolans worst one. If you liked Interstellar, I'd suggest putting on the poll some other, older, great Nolan films - The Prestige & Memento (for sure less confusing than Tenet ;)

I usually like Nolan movies but this one just felt like he was trying too hard and coming up short
