Several more great things are in the queue for tomorrow, Saturday and Sunday so stay tuned.

Also, concerning the most recent poll, we need a tie breaker! Shawshank and Pulp Fiction are both neck in neck.

Someone break that tie or we'll have to just flip a coin on Sunday night!

oh we would love, but we gotta be fair to any new patrons joining from now till end of next week. they may prefer to vote for something else. that being said, which ever of the 2 films not winning this week, will definitely be in the next poll. and very likely it will just be the winner; but out of fairness, we must honor our promise that every patron, new and old, gets to vote every week!

you guys think this show cant get better, then it does, then you're all like "okay well that one guy warned me it would get better, it got better; now what" then it hits midway season 2 and ur just like.... this is no longer just a kids' show. season 1 is mainly goofy setup! also you guys should try to guess the voice of fire lord ozai <3 if not realized/spoiled yet

haha to be fair, theres a chance the writings are in Japanese Kanji instead of Chinese Hanzi, or at least inspired by, though theres a lot of similarities but the pronunciation and meaning would be drastically different.

Now that you’ve gotten through the episode where we learn about the Avatar State, do you have any thoughts on the outcomes of the two storms? In the first, Aang freezes himself and Appa and they spend the next century in stasis. This time it lifted him out and to safety (granted it was saving others as well). Why do you think it took different actions? Keep in mind, Aang can’t control it yet, so the Avatar Spirit acts on its own. My guess is that the Avatar Spirit (possibly with Roku’s influence) realized the extermination of the Air Nomads was imminent, and that an immature Avatar who wasn’t even supposed to know that yet would only be another casualty of the massacre, so took actions to hide him away. This time, it realizes the time for hiding is past, so took him back to shore. That’s my thinking, at least.
