Another comment months after you did the reaction. Simone noticed Warrick Davis who played Willow. He's actually there because he was in Return of the Jedi. He played the Ewok that befriended Leia.

Also, I'm not sure if this was pointed out anywhere else, but the reason Samuel L. Jackson was in this was that he actively and aggressively campaigned to be in it. He would do talk shows for another movie and then bring up that he wanted to get the part and needed George Lucas to call him.
