Thank you, I appreciate the sacrifice to not see this in theaters in order to provide us with your first reaction. I think it would be a blast to watch Dune 1984, not really a good movie but worth the watch because it is so damn weird.

As a book fan, I loved the changes to Chani's character. I felt that it really helped the film emphasize the fact that Paul is not a hero, which many people still don't seem to get. I think that's why they edited down Paul's speech at the end. The softer they write him, the better he comes across. She has always been Chah-nee to me, like in the film. When you say Shaynee, it sounds like Dick Cheney, the politician. Can't unhear it. The actor playing Feyd put on that voice to sound like Skarsgaard. He did a very good job. Dune Messiah is definitely in the works down the line, and knowing Anya Taylor-Joy is involved is super exciting. I loved Christopher Walken. I think he's severely underrated, though. Man has an Oscar for a reason. If you haven't seen it yet, I recommend watching the Deer Hunter, though it's a tough watch.
