I love this episode. Stark was a nice villain, they frame him as a protagonist in this episode since he's always the one we hear his thoughts, not the soul reapers. Finally getting to see Kyoraku's power is cool too, so many different abilities (and showing how strong he is by taking out number 1 with ease). And then the ending with Aizen just killing Halibel cuz she's number 3 so she must lose the fight eventually anyway if 2 and 1 are dead.

I remember you that aizen's goal is to create the ouken (the key to enter in the soul king palace) and to take the place of the spirit king. For that he need to sacrifice the karakura town's lives.
