This shit getting so intense 😭 The scene between Nate & his mom was actually so entertaining to watch. FINALLY they give her some character. I feel like if she had taken control of her family years ago, Nate could’ve turned out better. The fact that she admits she wanted to put him into therapy but Cal didn’t want that further shows just how terrible of a father/human he is. Idc what happens to him w/ the disc situation. Cassie is still as embarrassing as ever. I thought she was gonna boss up towards the end of the episode but that remains to be seen. The ending scene where Rue’s mom pleads w/ them to send Rue to rehab is so freaken heartbreaking. That woman is trying so hard to save her daughter & when she finally has her ready to help herself the system fails them.

I think Nate's mom was referencing Nate finding his dad's porn. He was around that age when he found it. Also I think the rumors regarding the drama around Kat's storyline were disagreements about an eating disorder plotline.

I'm pretty sure the thing Marsha referenced with Nate's change was him finding his dad's stash. He didn't want to be seen as soft and he adopted a hyper masculine outlook so he'd never be A). Like his father,sneaking around and sleeping with men or B). be on the proverbial receiving end, which i suppose he may view as some sort of weakness. His controlling personality would never let him submit or be weak, so i imagine that's the moment of the switch. I'm definitely not a fan of how Kat approached the situation with Ethan, definitely a big turn off and I'm sure the socials aren't gonna be a fan of it (when they aren't bad mouthing Sydney/Cassie's actress).

No because these episodes have me stressed so much. I’m SICK of Cassie, and wasn’t surprised how she pulled a drugged Rue and tried to gaslight/manipulate her sister and mother after hearing them bad mouth Nate. Like girl please, this man don’t want you and is just using you to live an even more toxic and messed up life. Speaking of Rue, I’m happy that she’s trying to be get her life together, but I just know that the drug cartel lady is up to some shady stuff. I def believe that Rue was probably being trafficked by that woman while she was asleep, but I’m still unsure of the timeline between her being drugged to when she woke up and ran back to her mother. I do know, however, that this lady is not gonna let Rue go until she gets her money and then some. Lastly, I have a theory that Nate and the younger brother could’ve both stumbled upon Cal’s collection. But the younger one couldn’t keep his mouth shut, which resulted in either Cal killing the younger brother in front of Nate, or Nate being forced to kill his younger brother so that his father wouldn’t. That would explain why he’s so pressed about that tape, since he don’t want the same shit to happen with Maddie.

Yeah I didn't like what they did to Barbie's character I liked her last season not sure right now. And I am so glad they gave Nate's mom some lines. Nate's and Cass and Lexi's mom is getting more character too I guess the first season was to establish the teens and this is working on building the world a bit more. For a moment I thought the parents weren't even actors but just placeholders like how adults just make the "wah wah wah" sound in Charlie Brown. Also Tasha so right women of color got to be careful if Nate killed Maddy kidnapped her etc she wouldn't nearly get the same attention as someone like Cas would. That's why I carry pepper spray on me I don't screw around with that crap.

Cassie ass was pissing me off the entire episode, wanting everyone to feel bad for her and not admitting what she did was wrong especially the fact that she didn’t try to call Maddie to apologize for what she did also fuck nate jacobs for pulling a gun on Maddie‘s head and leaving her traumatized then trying to apologize for what he did.
