The conversation at the end is like really sad when you think about it. The Arrowverse way back when wasn't perfect, but they at least gave you the sense that the world we were watching was big and ripe with potential. You could tell they were at least trying because they gave us little interactions that we didn't know we'd like. Think back to the multiple times Oliver would call Barry to help him do something and we'd get the classic Flash theme and a quick lightning effect. It didn't require Grant being there nor did it require having complex writing. It was just a quick interaction that gave us that "Aw shit" feeling. This also translates to when we'd get characters from other shows popping up on another show. Now we rarely get any references and most of the shows either contradict each other or pretend they don't exist. Crisis should have changed that for the better and it only seems like Legends did their assignment. Now when I watch a show it feels like I have to forget all the other shows exist or else I end up pointing things out that don't exist. Crisis was supposed to fix all of this and finally start working towards what a lot of us wanted, instead it was a sign of things to come because it was done poor. Even Steven Amell commented on how poorly it was done behind the scenes. When shows start to show that they don't care, the audience will start checking out and not care themselves. I have very little interest in whatever happens next after the Flash because they are clearly wanting to start over and rush all the other shows.
