Hey everyone,

Bit of a slow week this week. I've spent this one and the last mostly recovering from an injury I suffered just before the Early Build launch of the previous version. I don't want to go into details here, and I'm posting this just to reassure everyone who has been checking up on me that I'm taking things easy as I recuperate.

Above you'll see another render of the future Riley Massage Event! I'm hoping to have this one and all the animations done this week, and then prepare for the interview with Kelly Clark in the upcoming main story push. On that note, there has been a question about how long this main story push will last. The answer to that is: a long time. We'll likely be in this phase of story development for at least a year, with one or two pauses for catch-up stories that, ultimately, are still part of the overall main story.

Furthermore, I don't foresee a long foundation-building period like the Sandbox Overhaul happening again soon, if at all. I will, of course, take time away from the main story to flesh out character stories just like I was doing before the Sandbox Overhaul, but many of the production woes I was dealing with have been sorted and shouldn't crop up again.

The closest thing to the Sandbox Overhaul will be a much more mild overhaul of the Early Game of Superheroes Suck, which I'll touch on and talk about in the far, far future.

I have a lot of story boarding still left to do, and so I would expect a shorter update with around seven events this time with much larger events coming afterward as all of that work will be done. I know that I've said that I've done a lot of story boarding already, and I have, but it's still not enough. With how many characters will intersect with the plot, be introduced and reintroduced, this is going to be quite complicated for me to balance. I want to make sure I get you the content exactly how it should with minimal corner-cutting and rewrites.

Anyway, that's enough rambling from me. I'm going to rest up a little tonight and then tackle work next week. I have the week off of my day job, so I'm hoping to accomplish a lot.

Thank you for all of your support,

~Solace
