[Progress Report]: 19th of February (Patreon)

Hey everyone,

The work on Chrys' Video Game Arc continues! It's also my sincere hope that I'll be able to finish her arc this development cycle, and I would like to thank all of you for your patience. 

There are just one or two events until the showdown with Sumire, with the rest of the arc covering the immediate fallout of that. I know that there are many questions regarding why the Video Game Arc had to be covered now, but the truth is, along with all of the story foundation, the Video Game Arc also impacts the Academy's overall development. In short:

Completing the Video Game Arc will give you access to Chrys' room.

I don't consider this a spoiler since the prior update (and some before it) allude that Chrys has become more and more comfortable with you in her personal space. This will finally open up the last heroine bedroom and give you access to future H-scene events (and otherwise) in there.

The next few development cycles should also feel a lot more impactful, given that we will be wrapping up all three necessary storylines in this order: Chrys' Video Game Arc, Riley's Move In Arc, and Artemisia's Suit Up Arc.

The only possible snag is that, next development cycle, I will need to travel for work and will be unable to progress the game for roughly two weeks. That said, there isn't a ton left in Riley's Arc either, with a lot of its build-up having already been finished. So long as nothing else crazy happens, we should be able to knock all of these out more or less in order and then...

The Main Story Push Resumes.

I will be shelving plans to overhaul the textbox / Town Map / Music in order to focus on returning to the Main Story for now. These changes are still in the works, but I will be waiting until after the next villain's "chapter" has finished, and will instead opt to put in a few simple choice menus for the Town Map in the interim. I have decided to go this route after listening to many of you in the Discord who are a little restless to get back into the main drive of things. I've heard you all, and I'll be doing my best to meet your expectation.

Oh, and now I have to shuffle off to rendering.
