[Progress Report]: 22nd of May (Patreon)

Hey everyone,

It's the week before the early build release and the panic ensues!

I've finished up work on some of Riley's events and I'm going to try and close out the animations by tomorrow night before I start on the event extravaganza that will be the showdown with Lovestruck. This is going to take all of my attention, so I apologize if I don't respond to messages as quickly as I usually do during the next week. I'm a little nervous, truth be told, as I always am before large events.

So close to the release, there's not much to talk about without including spoilers, so I'll move onto an interesting question I've received in my inbox!

Are the Patreon Polls always going to be H-scenes? I remember there used to be other things to vote on in the past.

This is true! In the past, the Patreon polls were more varied, largely due to the "wide" approach I was taking with game development back then. Since embarking on a main story focus, which has lasted for over a year, I've been forced to limit the polls to just H-scenes in order to manage my workload. This should be changing over time once we reach the Sandbox Overhaul, as I will be able to take a break from focusing on the "main" story and go back to focusing on "character" stories for a while, like with the major Heroines.

For example, I will be making Chrys' Bathroom event a Poll option during the Sandbox Overhaul period. That is an event that requires more build up and work than I can fit in while progressing the main story, but is perfect for the more character-driven sandbox component of the game.
