Hey everyone,

Chrys' events for this next Version are finally wrapped up and I'm going to be working on... well, a lot of things. It's kind of a weird month. My main rendering software updated, which is great, but it also changed how all of my lighting works, which is a little annoying. It's nothing major, just wanted to let you all know if you notice some environments are brighter than before. But enough about the nitty-gritty, you all probably want to know what's on the development table for this week!

So many animations. Specifically for Riley. The biggest h-event update I had ever done in the past contained 4 new h-events with 4 new animations. Well, since I'm trying to increase the quality of these events, and now it's more common to have 3 animations per event, I'm shooting for at least 3 h-events with 9 animations for the next version of the game! Riley is in a perfect position for this since she's already updated for the new lighting and is in desperate need of Academy content (like in the library and shower area).

Since I can't really "complete" Riley's events while the animations are still rendering (I don't know if I'll need to throw one out or how it will all look in the end), this means I'll also be pivoting towards the main story and a little bit of the protagonist's development. In short, Chrys' events are done, the main story is being worked on, and I'm rendering animations for Riley at the same time.

Because of this, I'm not really sure how long this update will feel like. On one hand, I know this will have more animations than any other update, but setting up each animation takes around 2-3 hours which does cut into the story progress. I'll give it a try and see how it feels. You guys deserve a bunch of animations, so I'll do my best to make it work.

What do you guys think about all of this? You know, I've always wanted to go back and rework more of the early portion of Superheroes Suck, but I've never felt comfortable doing that since everyone who has been playing it wouldn't see a lot of new content. Could this be a work around? If I redo the early game, I could also update all of the old animations and make those scenes longer! Maybe after Chrys' first major story arc is done? Let me know.

Oh! Before I go, Chrys' animations for winning the vote are already done. I guess that means 12 animations total?

Hmmm, I wouldn't mind if you went back to do a little bit of polishing. Another creator I'm backing made 3 chapters so far, but the first chapter looks VERY out of place, so he is currently redoing it, but while he as at it, he redid the 2nd chapter too. Because it would be wrong to just so small patches he said. Now I don't know what you have planned for SS, but I can tell you that I like it, screw the early reviews, I like the game. But I wouldn't decline any form of improvement. And who knows? Maybe you can "re-release" the game and it will finally pick up the following it deserves.

I'd love to see the game solid from the start onwards. Not saying the start is bad by any means but the difference in quality from the beginning to what is has been lately is staggering. I imagine a more polished early game will potentially lead to more people getting interested in supporting you as well.

If all the update was letting me kick down the bathroom door on chrys, I'd be a happy man
