Hey everyone,

Sorry this update is a few hours later than usual, but I've been working on the game all day to get it ready for Version 0.40. I finished the first patrol mission earlier in the week, and have been focusing my time on responding to all of the feedback the game has received. The most prominent criticism has been about the lack of direction and heavy initial grind. Well, I am pleased to say that a new hint system has been implemented, and that said grind has been reduced significantly! I originally wanted to do this during the next development cycle, but I figured if I tackled it now, then I could just add onto it later. The game wasn't originally designed for a hint system, so a lot of my time has been spent coding it in. There are still a few quirks, but it's stable and should not cause any problems with save files.

Almost everything else I've been cooking up is either a spoiler or boring scripting, neither of which make for a good weekly post. At least I can confirm that the official launch of Version 0.40 will be May 17th! I'm going to put out a beta version later today to my bug testers in the hopes that they squash anything I missed. 

I've also started going back and redoing some of the older "animations." Harper's first H-scene had been updated to be fully animated now, and I hope to fix some of the other ones during the next few weeks. The focus will still be on new content, but if I can do a little bit here and there, then the whole thing should be working shiny and new eventually.
