A HIGHLY MEDICAL EAR EXAM AND THINGS TO COME (Patreon)

Hey my sweet insomniacs, 

yesterday I released the role play I was teasing about in my little 200k thank you post. Due to my new ring light that I bought from your donations was I able to create a proper green screen effect. Thanks again guys! Besides that I purchased some nice props, like an othoscope and medical ear cleaning tools to represent the ear examination as realistic as I possibly could.

I did a lot of  research on how to perform an ear examination beforehand, which was a lot of fun. I studied the anatomy of the ear with it's Latin expressions, which I probably learned in biology class before, but I forgot it all. I wrote quite a detailed script over four pages that I memorized  for the video. 

It's my first role play in quite a while and most of my viewers didn't even know that I've done them before. So, a lot of people were quite surprised with this “new” approach. The greater sensation in that video; it seems; was my hair reveal though. I would say around 80% of the comments was on my hair, which amused me: I was aware of the fact that it's going to be a subject in the comment section since I never appeared without a cap or full face on camera.

I think it has to do with the fact that I am not afraid anymore to show who I am. When I started out I tried to hide under the cap and in dark shadows. I didn't want my close environment to know what I was doing on YouTube in my free time. Things have changed. I'm proud of what I have achieved and I'm happy to be part of such a caring and understanding community. Nobody should be ashamed of enjoying ASMR, neither as a creator nor as a viewer. My goal is to spread the word now! Big words, I know... ;) 

Whatever, I'm planning to do more role plays in the near future. I have the feeling that they appeal to a whole different audience. I myself enjoy role plays and sound assortments equally. I don't consider myself the greatest actor, that's why I shy away from role plays a little I guess.

My next video is gonna be a non spoken tapping video for all of you who enjoy my sound orientated content and who are not that into whispering. Let me give you an outlook on what else to expect over the next few weeks.

The next project after the tapping video is most likely the sound assortment that we've created in our trigger lab together. I'm pretty excited for that, you have some really interesting ideas! 

Besides that I'm gonna release a new episode of my behind the scenes vlog within this week. On top of that you'll get access to this month's mp3s and the new wallpaper.

It's been a while since I've collaborated with another ASMRtist. Currently I am in contact with another artist that I love listening to pretty much since I got into ASMR. She's quite popular and a very busy woman, so I am not quite sure when it's gonna happen. But we are both determined to realize the project.
