Chimera Zak (Circle)
Not one, not two, and not four either, but SEVEN unique pixel games, all developed and drawn by a single person.
Today is another one man army post, an army that goes by Chimera Zak - a pixel artist who made his big debut after releasing the somewhat classic "My Forest Home" to those may recognize the title.
Zak is a hard worker that unfortunately never truly managed to make a significant breakthrough that would allow them to further expand on their skillset.
From the cold Ukraine, adapting the craft of pixel art, he debuted in 2019 on DLsite with two simulation games and eventually releasing his most known work "My Forest Home" by the end of the year.
The games split into minigames and complete adventures.
None of them is something you'd write home about individually, but as a collection I cannot recommend it enough.
Zak often states that he loves to experiment with new ideas and styles, which shows.
Each game has its own concept and art style, that you wouldn't be able to tell they were made by the same person.
Diverse style can be a bit of a miss to some, but personally I favor the idea, as long as the final products are entertaining.
⭐ Since the games are pretty short (even the big ones), lets briefly go over them:
💤 Leila is Mine!
Zak's very first work, where you're a stalking creep that cannot stand seeing your love interest showing affection to another man.
So you do the most reasonable action of touching her in her sleep. Leila is only yours after all.
I mean, that's what the synopsis says, but you wouldn't really be able to tell or even guess based on the gameplay itself. The story isn't delivered well, but at the very least the pixel art is pretty nice.
Play around with Leila to please yourself without waking her up.
Short game, has two endings. Kinda cheap, so overall worth it for any pixel lover.
🥛 Milk Farm
As you might have guessed, it's a pixel animation of a big-breasted cow girl being milked by a machine.
There is no particular story, and you click the arrow on the left to proceed to the next development, so one might even see it as a an interactive video.
Beautiful pixel art with nice details, not only the milking but also the shaking of the breasts and the movement of the stomach.
Short fun experience and straight to the point.
🏠 New life in a new apartment & A Hole
Putting these two together, since all they really are is an animation slideshow with very basic minigames.
New life in a new apartment is a 15 day "survival" game, where in reality you (a Futa) get to bang your partner in all different ways, shapes, and angles until your time together is finished.
Spice things up a little by earning money through solving math problems on your PC and buying lewd her lewd gifts.
Pretty basic stuff. Overall nice little lewd distraction.
A Hole borrows the same HUD, giving the feeling that both games were made within adjacent timeframes.
This time you're regular female (so rare in these games) that does a little dirty sidejob in the public toilet by servicing men through glory holes.
Same concept, earn money and play silly minigames to improve your performance and unlock more animations and features.
Wouldn't even bother mentioning these if not for the gorgeous pixel art that I can never get enough of. Personally I feel that we should cherish every pixel project, as small as it may be.
Hand-craft smooth pixel can never be paralleled to Live2D and such.
It just hits different when done well.
🪵 My Forest Home
The big Cheese, the classic, the one that was there before the rest.
Back in the day at the beginning of 2020 there weren't really that many pixel games with Futa action. (Hell, there still aren't) So as we all know, when a game fills a need for the audience, and the quality is decent enough - you get a hit.
Take Vampire Survivors for example - poor art, decent gameplay, fills a niche need.
Take an even more recent example of Palworld - AI-generated looking, but it's put together well, and everyone always wished Nintendo would tap into the dark side with Pokémon.
Thankfully we have indie studios for that.
My Forest Home would be just another pixel adventure game today.
With that being said, it's quite comfy and fun for anyone who enjoys exploration and slow build-up by exterminating monsters and gathering resources.
The story is about a house in the forest that is destroyed, so you have to gather materials to rebuild it with the help of friends found along the way.
It is in fact a Metroidvania of sort, with a proper map, objectives, new progression based on your tools, and horny NPCs that will help you in more ways than one.
All H scenes are animated, mainly interspecies sex, Futa, and masturbation. All the enemies can be interacted with once your clothes rip and you get into heat.
The game went through several updates throughout the years, that I would definitely recommend it even outside the collection as an individual fun little experience.
🔥 The Village need help?!
If Eroico and My Forest Home had a baby - this is the result.
Take the role of a male protagonist this time, who ventures into a mysterious village surrounded by a forest full of lustful enemies.
Help innocent girls in need, who in turn will reward you with not-so-innocent gestures of appreciation. Alas, the most reasonable reward for carrying a bag of apples is a hardcore piledriver.
Unlike Forest Home, here you get basic movement, melee, and range skills that remain until the end of the game.
The only things you unlock are H scenes that also increase your damage output.
A more compact adventure game with decent challenge, cute graphics, and explicit static CG rewards accompanied by steamy dialogues.
It's a lot more simple than its previous installment, but my personal favorite, as I've always favored pixel action platformers that let you speedrun them as fast as your own skill.
All enemies feature H animations by simply getting grabbed.
🗿 Live with Tribe!
It might sound weird when describing an H game, but this one is absolutely adorable!
Your ship crashed on a remote island that happened to be inhabitant only by woman, ruled by their Futa queen.
As a zero text enjoyer in video games, the first thing that immediately stuck out was how everyone communicate with emotes, leaving it up to the player to figure out what to do next.
Kind of threw me back to "Tame it!" which I also highly recommend!
There's a lot of charm in creating your own interpretation of the world, as nothing is spelled out for you. Not that it takes a lot of brain power to figure anything out, rather the rarely used nuance is appreciated.
Whenever you perform a task, you'll get rewarded with a very inviting ass.
You don't have to do anything to said bottom in order to progress, but all I can say is that I've thoroughly enjoyed doing favors to each of the islands residents.
The rewarded pixel art, both CGs and animations were done very well, and to be fair quite hot.
I'd probably pick Live with a Tribe as the highest quality H-game among all the titles so far by Zak.
Anyone who played their share of H games can easily tell how much soul was poured into this project by noticing the small details in trying to be more than another porn slideshow.
Just like Forest Home and Village, it is also super comfy, but much shorter than the former.
Either way, totally recommended!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
All in all, Chimera Zak's game collection in my opinion is a MUST have in every cultured house.
As mentioned, the games individually feel too short and perhaps even lacking, but you know what? it doesn't and shouldn't matter at all.
Look at creators such as Creambee, CountMoxi, and even the super popular Kamuo.
All of the above have made literal porn slideshows, and guess what? that didn't deter anyone from playing, loving and further supporting them financially.
So I welcome our pixel overlords in all shapes and forms.
Short games, long games, as long as the person behind them actually gave a f*** to make something entertaining and unique - that's a win in my book.
