Review:

Almost like clockwork, exactly an year passed since the last H Punch-Out Masterpiece
AKA "Waifu Fist", where we get another incredible project featuring aggressive hot ladies that cannot wait to chokehold you between their thick thighs.

Gotta point out similar narrative between the two titles, where men are completely oppressed in a world ruled by women:
- In Waifu Fist we had Jack Hoff - the Sigma chud that wouldn't hesitate to uppercut his female opponents the instant they fall for his over-the-top masculinity.
- In Super Punch Boy, well.. the title kinda says it all. You're not quite a boy, but rather a young man that is the anti-thesis of Jack: Skinny, bashful, and merciful.

So you're the "champion" - that's actually how the MC is referred to in the game.
The champion who's very confident in his skills, enters an all-woman tournament because of reasons. However, this so-called champ is light-feather at best, while every single woman is between twice to thrice his size.
Basically imagine a Futurama episode where a slightly buffed Fry fights the Snu-Snu women.

🕹️ The gameplay has the same bread & butter concept as any Punch-Out game:
Intercept and counter your opponent's attacks with well timed dodges and strikes.
This version of Punch-Out is more lenient with the timings, allowing the player to dodge multiple times without getting punished, and disregarding the direction that some of the light attacks come from.

Although it is more forgiving in that regard, it is still quite challenging even on normal mode (3/5 in difficulty scale).
The first battles are more or less an introduction to each of the female fights to get the hang of things, but starting from about 6th stage things start to heat up, as your opponents will begin executing special moves and combos that can almost knock you out in a single chain.

🥊 My pro tip to beat the game is to simply remember the moves follow-ups.
The AI doesn't perform any mix-ups, so all the attacks have a pretty generous tells that prepares you to dodge in the rhythm you memorized.
Dodges build up a super punch that deals massive damage, so don't bother blocking unless it's a move that punishes any other action.

Even though everyone want to use you as their toy, they still dislike and resent you - that includes even the referees who actively take part in the fight whenever they get the chance.
Expect getting heel stomped while you're still down, getting your view obstructed, or the best part - getting seduced between rounds to lower your guard and attack power. (thankfully it's a player choice)

💕 You probably wonder where all the H comes into play?

I cannot emphasize enough how glad I am to play games that organically and seemingly integrate the H content into the gameplay itself.

Lets start with the obvious - all of the opponents are dressed very skimpily, some just barely cover their large assets.

Any attack that knocks or grabs you has an immediate lewd follow-up.
A full knock-out will initiate the good stuff, where the champ gets forced into a sex position during and after count-down.
Choose to struggle and get out to continue the fight, or yield to climax and end it.

As mentioned, a fun feature is to lewd up your opponent or the referee.
Sit back and enjoy a steamy, yet comical scene where the champ succumb to his urges (sometimes stripping off your opponent) in exchange to raise the stakes and get a massive debuff that you'll very likely only recover after getting knocked out.

⚠️ Keep in mind that the volume of explicit H content is pretty low.
All of the opponents do the same riding position on the MC, each having different grab attacks that only half of them show his prick without anything else getting exposed.

I'd definitely say it's more on the fetish side of things, catered to audience who enjoys watching a guy getting dominated and toyed with, as there is plenty of that here, including in special fights with multiple opponents that harass you all at once.

So if you're mostly looking for hot steamy sex sessions, then perhaps look for another game.

Overall, Super Punch Boy is an excellent Punch-Out clone with H elements, rather than a straight up porn game catered only for our primal urgers.

It is a game you'd play to have a fun challenge with humorous 18+ scenes, but not beyond that unless you're into domination fetish.

There are better options out there if you're looking for straight up porn entertainment.
In that sense, Waifu Fist does a better job, having extremely high quality CG as rewards for beating your opponents.

It is something I wish we had in SPB as a "side dish" to further enhance the H experience, but nonetheless, it is the only second game in existence that adapted the Punch-Out theme in such great quality.

A fun and challenging game with adult themes that I highly recommend to any H action games lover.
And between us? the music has no business being such an absolute banger, someone please give the composer a raise and a VIP escort for a week.
