Review:

*Throws money at the screen*

I can't hold it anymore. Been persevering and waiting for "just one more update", but enough is enough. It is time to write about of the most STUNNING and promising H titles in the past year - ThornSin.

ThornSin is a Rougelike, YES, a fully functional Roguelike with satisfying combat, items, artifacts, shops, bosses, big enemy variety - which means big H variety!

And what a phenomenal H content it is...

🕹️ But before we get there, lets talk a bit about the game. Starting with the dry gameplay stuff, we have double jump, ground combo with an optional backflip finisher, magic bullet, and dash.

You play as sister Inesa, who's goal is to find the origin of the demons that roam the lands. After a short and sexy intro, you're thrown right into the fray exploring a new dungeon every few floors, full of its own unique enemies (mixed with previous ones).

There are three difficulties: braindead, easy, and normal.
I had to mention this, since found it funny how in most games you get the usual easy to hard, but here the devs fully understand their target audience, so you can have it easy, or choose "Godsend" which in their own words - "For players who don't mind a dull experience and want to enjoy the erotic scenes."

YES!
These devs get it! I always ask myself why bother padding H games with unnecessary grind if a big part of your player base just want one thing? You're not creating the dark souls, where the gameplay's vision is above all. If tits and ass are your main advertisement, then make sure your players can enjoy them as they please.

Now, if you're wondering how difficult is the game. Well, as long as you're not careless by overcommitting to attacks (they root you), then it's simple enough to get through the whole thing.

The first enemies you'll encounter may as well be standing ragdolls. You'll slowly get introduced into more intense assaults by werewolves and other abominations. So as long as you keep your distance you'll be safe.
Do keep in mind that every hit counts, as there isn't much of healing going around. You'll only recover about 50% of your health after a boss fight, and that's most of the healing you'll ever see.

The rest of the game plays like any room based platforming Rougelike - clear the room and choose the next one. Make it to the boss floor and beat it to advance to the next area.

But what's a Rogulike without items and relics? Items for the most part have low impact on your gameplay (random teleport, random poisoning, coins spawns etc...) but you'll also find relics that do play a more significant role that shapes up your playstyle, such as periodical freezing, faster attack rate with a cost, and more...

Another way to upgrade your abilities is via the merchant.
Unfortunately money is a bit more difficult to come by compared to your average Rouglike. Inesa is a brokie that can barely purchase anything, let alone a single items. However, the friendly merchant will offer some cash in exchange for Inesa's dignity.

The choice is yours...
A wonderful and surprising bonus is the new interactions with the shopkeepers based on your corruption level, which can be increased from any sexual act, including with him.

💕 Now, about those delicious lewds...

Inesa is one tight chick: Tall, slender, well-endowed, y'know - all the qualities that describe a nun. Among all the action H titles I've played, she's definitely at the top 3 hottest, standing proud among the semen demons Aradia and Ellen.

Whenever Inesa gets knocked out, she'll get knocked up - in the full sense of it. That's right, pregnancy is an actual status effect, where you get injected with a parasitic fetus that keeps on growing unless you find a way to remove it.

Not only birth fetish is prevalent, but you can also give birth to TWINS! The devs really went to town with the reproduction gameplay...

Other than that, we get the "usual" monsters and other abominations assaults. Inesa can't catch a break with so many blue balled monsters thirsting for her sweet ass.

The animations are gorgeous, but the crown jewel is without a doubt the animated defeat CG scenes. Extremely detailed, full of life.
We get to see Inesa in all her glory getting raided and pounded to oblivion, sometimes willingly, but mostly not...

Unfortunately since the game is still in 0.4, there's no gallery mode yet. So if you're looking just for scenes, make sure to DM me for the best source to enjoy them.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

ThornSin is without a doubt a game I'd recommend for both its high quality erotic and gameplay entertainment. Usually it's one aspect tilted in favor of the other, but in this H Roguelike you're getting the full bang for your buck and for Inesa.

I usually hold back reviewing games with long roadmaps ahead of them, but ThornSin has been in development for 1.5 years, and it shows.

May the devs manage to pull through and deliver us the complete product. But between us? it's already a 10/10 in my book ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
