Review:

SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!! 💰

Is what I've more or less internally screamed at the monitor when I saw the ever-so-rare, beautifully crafted 2.5D design in an 18+ game no less.

I already knew before even playing I'd fall in love with this one:

✅ Pixel art
✅ CG
✅ Competent gameplay
✅ EVEN an interesting story?!

My theoretical 10/10 bucket list is complete, so all that's left is to actually play this thing. And boy, did it live up to the expectations and then some...

Alright, so first of all, for some reason some Japanese devs like to name their games with the most literal descriptive titles such as "My neighbor always plays with my big boner when my dad goes to buy milk", or in this case "Embarrassed Shina-chan -the Naked Wandering College Girl-".

Let's settle on just "Shina-chan" for now.

Shina-chan is a college student (18yo, devs even made sure it's in the title!) that found herself naked in the middle of the street with no recollection about the events that preceded since the night before when she went to a party.

Her home is a few blocks away, so she's left with the only sensible option that anyone else would've done: try and make it home butt naked through the city in broad daylight without getting caught!

🕹️ The game begins with a short monologue of Shina trying to figure out what is happening, as the game will explain your objective and the gameplay inputs:
Basic movement, Running, Interacting, Menu (Items, saving, options), and camera control when possible.

Making it past the street folk gives a good sense of danger and curiosity at the same time. "What happens if I get caught in this specific situation?" will be a repeating question you'll run through your head, as the game will keep throwing all kind of wild, unrealistic, and amusing outcomes if you do mess up, deliberately or not.

To add more weight to your actions, a mental health and social status system is in play, where the more careless you are, the worse the ending will be.
Now let me tell you, the worst ending is pretty f***ing bleak, given the circumstances...

Mental health can be recovered with drinks that are either found or purchased with money found scattered around.
Social status however is permanent, so save often!

Each main stealth segment has its own H event. Once triggered, all NPCs that share the same outcome will disappear off the map, so at the very least you won't have to deal with them again.

Shina starts the game as a virgin, so it gives a very nice touch is the different dialogues whenever you're caught. She will comment about it during the event, and its outcome will carry on to further events.

In case it wasn't cleared enough - Shina-chan has a HUGE replay value!
There are a total of 8 different endings (!!), all based not only on your final social status, but also based on the specific screw-ups you had during each run.

💕 While the gameplay is in pixel art + 3D roaming, the actual H events are all in CG format, no animations unfortunately, but is totally forgiven in my book with the entertaining writing.

Usually CG alone doesn't leave much of an impression on me, but I dig a lot the relatively soft tones of each event, given how in many H titles there are 10 gallons of semen pouring out of every dude as if the chicks are getting fucked by ogres.
It's fresh air for me, since it's still explicit, but more "realistic" and less focused on illustrating how steamy the situation is.

⚠️ The only thing that stops me from giving this amazing H masterpiece a 10/10 is the lack of gallery.
Although I am optimistic for a future update, since it's a common feature that usually gets addressed later on with new patches. (currently reviewing 1.0.0 build)
And I suppose another half a point decreased for the sometimes weird and janky camera angles.

But even then, Shina-chan is an incredible H title.
All stealth titles I've seen and played to this date were made in classic RPGmaker, so in a sense you could call it the very first 2.5D 18+ stealth game.

No matter if you're into the whole concept or not, do yourself a favor and play her game. It's available in full English, no MTL literature or any shenanigans of the sort.

I also haven't noticed any spelling or grammar errors.
Normally I wouldn't care for those either, but I won't lie that the story is an integral part of the entire experience.
