Review:

I decided to review a new release that caught my eye, but little did I know that the high quality of the CG animation that sold me this game stands in complete contrast to the actual gameplay.

I'll give it to you straight - just watch the CG gallery (or "Gallary"), and don't even bother with the poorly made combat animations.

The gameplay consists of holding the space button briefly against incoming attacks in order to build up your action meter (and by waiting) to either heal, attack, or for some reason stop the enemy from attacking, which will only prolong the fight.

While I don't recommend getting or playing this game, I do feel that whoever was responsible for the CG artwork and animations should collab with a competent dev that can create a legit fun and engaging experience.
I actually believe that this game could've been a lot better if it changed a few things like instead of block you parry, and add attacks to dodge like a sort of a rhythm game.

I've probably beaten the whole thing in 15 minutes.
But alas, it was this studio's first title, so at the very least they only 70% fucked this up.
