Review:

Kinda funny how the video that started my decent into the the endless abyss of the cultured world since a couple of years ago only gets its own post now.
I think the reason behind that is because I felt the game was simply too bare-bones to make an honest review at the time.

So Kincaid, as the summary suggests - is a 2D action platformer, and probably also the best 2D pixel art metroidvania of its kind.

It is a furry themed game, so if you're not into that you might wanna skip it.
However... regardless if it's your cup 'o tea or not, the gameplay is legit.
Movement and combat is tight, with plenty of rooms to explore and find all sorts of secrets.
It is a full-fledged action game that rightfully have found its way into Steam as well.

Among all the H titles I played so far, Kincaid definitely was among my favorite to speedrun, along with Eroico and Super Mamono Sisters  . (Both games share the pixel art style and H interactions with enemies btw)

The animations are smooth, the CG is very explicit and detailed. You can tell the artist wanted everything to look just right without cutting corners in quality and scene deliverance.

I highly recommend checking out Kincaid, which in my opinion is one of the best 2D H platformers out there.
