Review:

Subverse doesn't need any real introduction. It's *potentially* the highest quality adult title in the industry.

The game offers X-com style grid combat and a top down shooter arcade style combat.
I would praise them for investing in an actual functioning and even somewhat fun experience during those gameplay instances, but honestly? with how much they spammed those around the game, they kinda felt cheap at some point, only as fillers to earn points to unlock private time with the girl. (Animated CG)

The game does shine with its great voice acting, well written dialogues, good sense of humor, and of course the amazing looking models.

Right now it's in Early Access, and the amount of content you get out of it certainly doesn't feel like it's worth the $30 price tag. But time will tell how things will develop. The devs do show that they care, at least on surface.

Personally I'm very interested to see the final product, mostly if they're just gonna recycle the same formula for all the planned chapters, or if they plan to spice things up for more engaging experience.
