When it comes to supporting companies like Blizzard... I think that there are systemic problems that will occur there simply because it is such a large company. I'm sure that in any sufficiently large org in America you can find similar abusive behavior simply because with any large set of people you can find an abuser, and given the dynamic of needing to work to live, that abuser will likely have power over someone. But most of the people making a game aren't that and do deserve support and payment for their work on games we (may or may not) enjoy playing.
