Weekly Update (Patreon)

Hey!

Happy 4th of July to those who celebrate it! I am 16 days away and there is so much left to do!

Thanks so much for the feedback from everyone! Based on your advice I will be adding a new weekly video on YouTube that will talk about the games I have played over the past week in a more informal and personal way than what is usually in my reviews and game lists. Let me know what you would most like to see in that type of format!

I will also be releasing a video on YouTube soon bringing the greater community up to speed on the move, my mom, and my plans for the next 6 months. While the move will be disruptive, it will actually be less chaotic than the past few months.

The countries/places that we are currently planning on visiting in the near term are:

• Japan
• Singapore
• South Korea
• Taiwan (Why I had to add the term "places." Stupid geopolitical drama.)
• Vietnam

This brings me to my next dilemma. I am pretty clear on the laws in some of these countries regarding my channel, but I am REALLY, REALLY concerned about Japan and Vietnam. While there is nothing pornographic in any of my content (I'm not even suggestive!), I am worried if my channel would be illegal in Vietnam. As for Japan, it looks like reviewing video games is not protected by "fair use", because there is no "fair use" provision in Japan.

I'd love to hear your thoughts before I roll out the video on YouTube. The plan is to keep the weekly updates "weekly" even if there is a delay in content. I have so much footage prerecorded so something will keep going out, I just won't always know what that will be in advance.
