Wow, your family is going through a really though time right now. My prayers/best wishes to y'all. You should also know that you are bound to be expending massive amounts of emotional energy on this right now, even though your mom has cancer, not you. This will be whether you are aware of it or not: so the fact that you are having a hard time getting things done means you are human, and care deeply for your mother, and wonder how this terrible thing happened, and are angry, and sad, and depressed, but glad they caught it and (hopefully) removed it, and a million other powerful emotions all at once. So go easy on yourself, explain this to your patrons, and most of us will cut you some slack. Peace
