Hey--

I'm finally getting back to a more stable release schedule and it feels so nice to get videos out again. As I catch up with the backlog, you'll still see a few videos from January and February, but I'm making progress.

This week I'll be releasing my two part review of Venus Blood Frontier and Venus Blood Hollow as well as my review of the new College Bound side story, College Bound: Arctic Adventure. My planned list of reviews through April (not including the backlog) are:

  • Jerez's Arena Ⅱ
  • Tame It!
  • UuultraC
  • Deliverance
  • The Book of Bondmaids - Cooks, Thieves, Wives and Lovers
  • My Newborn Life In A Harem
  • The Divine Speaker
  • College Bound: Arctic Adventure
  • Prince of Suburbia - Part One
  • VenusBlood FRONTIER International
  • VenusBlood HOLLOW International
  • Final Fantasy VI

I have two non-gaming (or maybe gaming adjacent) scripts as well that I was thinking about releasing for April 1st, but I'm concerned that non-gaming content will not be well received. I'd love to hear your thoughts on the subject before I decide anything and I'll bring this up again in this month's Patron video. The current working titles are:

  • The Hobbit and the Myth of Canon
  • The Truth behind Hufflepuff House

Like I said: I'd love your input on this before I finalize any decisions. There are so many new Steam releases coming out at this point that the channel could easily just cover Patreon releases on Steam as well as completed Steam titles. There is way more content out there than I could ever keep up with, so I do want to know what you think is most useful/informative/entertaining.

I appreciate the feedback and will also reach out to the Discord and YouTube community later this month for their feedback as well. I hope you have an Awesome week!

The Hobbit as in Tolkien?

Yes! There is a lot of conversation about the upcoming Amazon series and I was going to weigh in with actual evidence spanning a 40 year period of Tolkien's life, talk about the book, and the movie trilogy. Maybe the cartoon too. I'm still on the fence about that part.

FWIW personally I would love to see an acknowledgment of JKR's transphobia in any content about Harry Potter. Cos it's good to keep these things in mind when discussing her content

I think a contextual conversation about the subject would work, just like bringing up Disney and Nestle's support of slave and child labor if I was talking about them.
